Wayne County will begin resurfacing Pelham Road from Goddard Road toWick Road on Monday, April 16. Traffic will be diverted into one lane in both directions while the other lanes are being worked on. The existing asphalt surface will be milled off and the road base repaired. Drainage and utility structures will be repaired and adjusted.Sidewalk crosswalks will be replaced and improved. The road surface will receive two layers of new asphalt and new pavement markings will be applied.This work is scheduled to be completed by June 30.Following the resurfacing, landscaping restoration and clean-up will be performed and is scheduled to be completed by September 1.Access to all businesses, residents and intersecting streets on Pelham from Goddard to Wick will be maintained during the project.
