Candidates for Local Office are listed below, in alphabetical order- *List of Candidates is subject to change*

Mayor: Alex Garza, Jeff Jones, and Tim Woolley.

City Council: Amy Atwood, Jill Brandana, Tina Daniels, Sam Ditzhazy, Nick Dmitruchina, Martin Drouillard, Douglas Geiss, Chrissy Masters Carmona, Justin Mordarski, Korey Morris, Herman Ramik, Lindsey Rose, Ira Slaven, Asha Tyson, Chris Verdun, and Angie Winton.

City Clerk: Cindy Bower -no primary required

City Treasurer: Michelle Tocco- no primary required

The primary will trim the candidates for mayor to two, of which one will be selected by the voters in November. The candidates for council will be cut to 14 after the August primary, and the top seven vote-getters in the November 2 election are seated as the new City Council. 

Each candidate was required to submit a nominating petition including at least 150 signatures to the Clerk by April 20 at 4 p.m. The requirements also included an Affidavit of Identity and a statement of candidacy. Qualifications are that the candidate has to be 18, a registered voter and be a resident of the City for at least one year.
